Hot pepper balm

The hot peppers (chili) contain the flavonoids capsaicin and rutin and the lycopene dye – one of the strongest antioxidants. This combination regulates the action of free radicals, accelerates blood supply, accelerates the burning of calories, nicks and spreads the accumulated lipids. Capsaicin is characterized by a variety of physiological effects, such as the antioxidant action primarily attributed to the carotene molecule.

Locally applied, capsaicin preparations have a revulsion effect – reddening of the skin, increase in temperature, reduction of pain.
